Fall season show launch week ep. 1

Well so far so good on the new fall shows that I have watched!

The Blacklist has so many story lines and back story to fill in, that they can turn this into a must watch for me! Hopefully they didn't show too much up front, but if they take their time this could be a great show!

NCIS getting the crew back together! Woo hoo!, but I am worried about the investigator that seemingly has done a 180° and is now helping Gibbs.....

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Action packed opener! Just waiting, hopefully it won't just be the heroes they tracked down in the first episode, don't want to give anything away!

First installment down, we will see how many I get up this week!

Work Rant....

Well had fun this weekend, was relaxin' chillaxin' etc.. Decided to setup Outlook on my laptop... Just so I could send an email to book a weekend getaway. Got logged into my work email and noticed that I had missed an email from a client on Friday.. Ok, bad enough, but the news was that an employee was coming back to work on Monday that hadn't been there for a while. And we had borrowed her computer to setup another person! Ok, so send my booking email and head to work...

Took 6.5 hours to format, re-install Windows XP, drivers, Office 2000, that's right Office and Outlook 2K, and other work programs.. Setup the desktop, join the domain, map network drives etc... Switch out the old employees system so that it would be ready for them when they came in on Monday!

Whew, all good, right? Well half right... The passwords had changed on the email accounts that they use, but that was a quick fix.. The guy that I re-formatted and resetup his machine? I copied icons and had them in the right place on the desktop, I took a picture of his desktop before I changed out the system, I had copies of all the files on his desktop, his documents folder, and dos .csv files exported from his mail. Set everything back up! But one thing is not working, he accesses 3 email accounts, and they are all connecting POP3 because there is an exchange server in the mix, and all the mail now come into his inbox not separated into 3 inboxes, (one for each account). And it is a deal breaker, I have to fix it. And I thought I was resistant to change!

How about you guys? Have fun dealing with perfectionist people resistant to change or learning how things actually work?

Hopefully I will just setup a couple of rules to move incoming mail to 2 different folders and call it good.

Another Month

Another month has come and gone and still I'm puttering here round the house, canning all the tomatoes and cucumbers that came from the garden, and working part time. September was rough with 4 home football games one each weekend. However, now the games are fewer and farther between. Means less money, really need to find a full time job!

At least my wife is now able to walk and drive! She loves being able to drive again!

Well keep in touch and let me know of anything new!
