Christmas is coming!

Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus!

So how many of you have put up their Christmas ornaments? This year I have someone to decorate with and we have been busy! And this year I can't wait till Christmas, got Kim's present ready and wrapped, she can't guess it either!

INSTALLFEST UPDATE

Well it seems that Visual Studio 2008 will not install in Windows 2000 no matter what the service pack installed. On top of that the install program does not give you any real information, only that a file cannot be found. I ended up installing it on my home PC Running Windows XP 2005 MCE. Worked like a charm there!

They gave away some nice things at the installfest too, ZUNE version 2, Xbox 360, Rock Band and many other things!

Well it was fun anyway, but looks like it is time to upgrade the laptop....

Microsoft Events

Well believe it or not,here I am at the Tulsa Microsoft Visual Studio 20008 INSTALLFEST! Where they are giving us the ability to install the software ahead of it's release.

That is if my old laptop can handle the software, I am running Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4. Fun thing is that I don't have a DVD ROM on this old piece and of course the install is on a DVD.... Here comes the friends and my USB HD... We will see what happens with that!
