Movies

I used to have a list of movies that were coming up that I'd like to see. It's been a year since I updated it, and of course that list is no longer valid. I thought I might try to do a similar list here, unfortunately, there just doesn't seem to be many movies the remainder of this year that I'm interested in.

October
The Marine

February 2007
Ghost Rider

March
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

May
Spiderman 3

July
Transformers

TBD Summer
Ratatouille

Several of the sites I used to use to build my list have become less helpful either through lack of updates, or a more fluid movie industry, reluctant to release the release dates to the public.

Sad thing is that I actually find out about fewer upcoming movies.

The long and the short of it

As the long summer days give way to shorter autumn ones, and the leaves start to change colours, all I can say is WHEW!

This summer was a hot one and it reminded me of my days as a kid on the farm. I'm not sure if the days were as hot back then, but I was outside all the time! I'd be a dark brown from the sun and my hair would actually be a light sandy brown. So maybe now I feel the heat as more of an oppressive wall that slams me in the face when I walk outside, where as a kid I was running to feel the wind on my face.

Ah, summer time memories.

Yes, I know not much of a post, but what can I say!

ASP and COM +

It seems that I am to be plagued with computer problems. On Monday of this week my chat program failed to operate. I booted up the computer at work and the program started up but wouldn't connect or finish loading. No activity in task manager either. So I ended up installing the original versions of the programs, see I normally use a chat client that allows me to connect to most chat clients out there. But as I said it wouldn't run. Anyway, this caused it's own version of fun too. Running 2 different chat clients instead of one, with windows popping up all the time is quite annoying.

Now here it is Thursday and bam, my development system, (which happens to be my work pc) won't serve an ASP page, it will serve html pages, but when I try to view a page I"m working on that is ASP, I get an error. It seems that a COM + service won't run and at that point I get "SEVER ERROR". Not even the 404 or 500 error pages will display! I can't wait to go home and do something non-computer related........
