ASP and COM +
It seems that I am to be plagued with computer problems. On Monday of this week my chat program failed to operate. I booted up the computer at work and the program started up but wouldn't connect or finish loading. No activity in task manager either. So I ended up installing the original versions of the programs, see I normally use a chat client that allows me to connect to most chat clients out there. But as I said it wouldn't run. Anyway, this caused it's own version of fun too. Running 2 different chat clients instead of one, with windows popping up all the time is quite annoying.
Now here it is Thursday and bam, my development system, (which happens to be my work pc) won't serve an ASP page, it will serve html pages, but when I try to view a page I"m working on that is ASP, I get an error. It seems that a COM + service won't run and at that point I get "SEVER ERROR". Not even the 404 or 500 error pages will display! I can't wait to go home and do something non-computer related........

That sounds like a ton of fun! Seriously, some days, I hate computers. Especially in a week where one of our servers goes "wiggy" and the normal server admin is on vacation...
Today (Thurs) did actually rock, though. I derived a custom control from the .NET "AdRotator" control, and then added a ton of functionality to it. Not a common task, but a fun one... once I found a little bit of documentation to help me. :)
